Overview: There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, and the site's own code sets no cookies and sends nothing you type anywhere. Countdown.football is operated from Finland, in the European Union.
What happens in your browser
The football starting times are converted to your local timezone on your device, using your browser's own clock and timezone setting. This information never leaves your own browser. Calendar files ("add to calendar") are generated on your device too, and download directly to you.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes technical data — your IP address, browser type and the pages requested — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. That processing is covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy; we see aggregate traffic numbers, not individual visitors.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense. When ads are shown, third-party vendors — including Google — use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and may serve personalised ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you will be asked for consent before any advertising cookies are set, and you can decline.
